Driving with Kids

Published by unilady at 7:53 pm under family life Edit This

I have just come from a very long car ride with my kids. I have discovered the best way to amuse them – audiobooks. I can’t believe I never tried audiobooks before. The wonderful librarian at the library pointed me in the right direction – they have a wonderful selection. She recommended Bunnicula – by James Howe. The collection contained 6 cd’s which included three stories. Bunnicula: a rabbit tale of mystery; Howliday Inn; and The celery stalks at Midnight. It was read by Victor Garber, who did a wonderful job of narrating all the different animals’ voices. This collection of audio stories made our 5 hour drive just fly by! I highly recommend audiobooks for your next car trip!
